Mission Aurora Colorado Swimming (MACS) - Year-round swim team for kids 5-18 years old (see more below). These swim teams are dedicated to providing a safe and friendly environment for swimmers to learn, grow, and compete. The Dam West Dolphins is a summer, semi-competitive, recreational swim team which encourages the use of proper technique, sportsmanship, and team unity. Summer only - Mid May through late July. Swimmers 8 years old and younger need to be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards), swimmers 9-18 need to be able to swim a minimum of 2 lengths of the pool. The Aurora Masters swim team is a workout group and part of Colorado Masters Swimming. Focus is on technique and fitness. Some members swim with the group to keep active, others for the social aspect of swimming with other swimmers, and some are looking to become or stay competitive. The Mission Aurora Colorado Swimming (MACS) is a competitive year-round (mid September through late July) USA Swimming registered swim team with a heavy emphasis on technique and conditioning, helping each swimmer reach their athletic potential (producing 3 USA National Team members) and become proficient in each of the four (4) competitive strokes: Freestyle (American Crawl) Backstroke Breaststroke Butterfly
